We are the only place in Western Nova Scotia that makes custom mouldings and posts from existing pieces. Every few years manufacturers discontinue their patterns. When you need to replace or add some pieces, you may be left with no choice but to replace all of it. That’s where we come in, we can create matching pieces from an existing sample saving you money and a headache.
Custom Mouldings
We can create a custom knife directly from a sample piece that is only 2 inches long. We can match just about any pattern and shape.
Replicated Posts
We are able to replicate custom round posts that are up to 7in x 7in x 12ft in size. You drop off an original one and we can make as many copies as needed.
Arches and Casing
We can also make custom arches and casings for windows and doors to match what you already have so you don’t have to replace it all.
Other Pieces
We also make many other pieces that go along with our posts and mouldings. We can make end caps for posts, newel caps and newel posts as well as balusters and other pieces.

Our Process
You bring us the sample or piece to replicate and we do the rest.
Sample Piece Evaluation
We carefully recreate your moulding using a plastic pattern which we then turn into a custom made knife to perfectly match your sample.
Lathe Replication
We craft custom posts and pillars on our large lathe using your existing sample pieces. We can recreate many sizes and patterns up to 7in x 7in x 12ft
Solid Wood Creation
Our moudlings and posts are made entirely of natural wood. We do not use any other material. Many varieties of wood are available.
